Magic Tournament

Wednesday night me and dad went up to zuhmbell road to go to a magic tournament. Magic is a card game and we were doing commander decks, commander decks are when you have a deck and you have a card, that card cannot have a kicker and the color it is, is the color you deck has, you can cast your commander whenever you want.

        So we played with the decks we made. The first game i was with dad and to other guys we played until one guy was out then i was out and the last guy won. then we played another game and me, dad and a guy named Tim played, Tim lost i won and dad was second place. then we left to get a good night of sleep at home.

Culinary Camp

On July 25 at 7:45 in the morning i left with my Nana to go to Culinary Camp. We got lost while trying to find it, but we got there and then we checked in, Nana and Zoe left and i was on my own at the camp. we went to a garden and i planted some cilantro. Then we went to the classroom to start cooking, first we cooked cocanut balls then chinease new year cake.

Then we did nutrition education, lunch then S.P.O.T.S, Then we went back to the kitchen. The following days were similar, garden, cook, nutrition, lunch, spots, cook, leave. but on Friday, it was different. We cooked, until lunch, we ate lunch, worked on our SPOTS presentation, cooked some more then took down all the food for a buffet the parents were coming to. when the parents got there we did our SPOTS presentation, then ate and the camp was over.

4th of July

For 4th of july Sadie, our cousin is coming we are going to spend today and tomorrow at our grandma and grandpa carpenter's house. Sunday we are going to insbrook to swim and have fun with a lot of cousins. then Monday we wanted to go to the parade.

Roller Coaster Heaven

Since we got back from Cleveland, Ohio at Cedar Point i have been working on a coaster, i'm still working on it, he-he, it's actually made out of K-nex. K-nex are like legos except there sticks instead of blocks. The coaster has a big hill it goes down, mmm... about 82 degree drop the thing then goes on a crazy horseshoe that nearly puts you upside-down! Then you go through some track and the thrill of the ride is over. The last surprise is the name, its name is; The Torture Run!

School

School has been fun lately, we are blogging, Zoe is posting 5 times a week and I'm posting twice a week.

I've started on new math, it's life of Fred: Geometry.  We are also doing languages, I'm doing German and Zoe's doing French. In the past we have made Ruge Goldbergs, They are simple machines that go step by step to do one little thing. To the left is a Rube Goldberg video. Now we are doing Piano, Math, I'm Programming, Blogging, And Language.

Biking

On June 18 Grandpa Jim and I went biking. We first decided to go into Walden Pond. Then we decided to go to the pool and through Walden Pond, but we went to the pool and instead of turning around to go to Walden Pond, we kept going. After a while we found a dead end, but crossed a little river on to a path. We biked then we stopped at Wall-greens, to see if they had ice cream but i pointed out, "There's a dairy queen right by us so we went to Dairy Queen. I got a cherry shake after we finished we biked home, the total biking amount was 51/2 Miles!

Cleveland

Me, Zoe, Grandma and Grandpa, were driving to Cleveland from an awesome experience at Fred and Jamie’s house.  The only thing bad is that I came home with a fever. At Cleveland Wendy called to see if we wanted to have dinner, I was sick and tired so I said “NO!” when Grandma and Grandpa asked. The next day my fever was gone, we swam a whole every day that week, then was Monday, CEDAR POINT! See my other post for cedar point. Then Tuesday and Wednesday Olivia took care of us while Grandpa was gone. Wednesday we soaped the trampoline, then Thursday, we watched Kung Fu Panda 2 and left.

Raptor

Cedar point is the most awesome amusement park in the WORLD! It has 17 coasters some even higher than 300 feet! Which brings me to the Millennium Force. It is a 300 foot tall steel monster, the angle of it's first drop goes to 82 degrees, which is almost STRAIGHT DOWN! The speed is 93 miles per hour, and I rode it. Then comes the scariest coaster ever, a 420 foot tall, freaky coaster. You accelerate  to 120 miles per hour in four seconds and shot straight up an Down! The Raptor is my next thoughts to be told. The Raptor is a CRAZY, CRAZY, CRAZY, CCRRAAZZYY, coaster! It flies 137 feet in the air going 57 miles per hour, AND it has a whole bunch of flips, while you are hanging from the track. That is 3 of Cedar Point's CRAZY COASTERS!

JET

Jet is awesome, in jet i have learned about three things: Mauritania, Oceans and cool sea creatures, and Math. It's the most awesome thing ever but to get in you have to be smart enough, hehe, i'm in. It's really cool, the reason you have to be smart enough is cause they teach you harder things. J.E.T. stands for, Journey into Expanded Thinking.
